FEDERAL LIBERALS HAVE ABANDONED BARNETT AND WESTERN AUSTRALIA

It’s now clear that the Colin Barnett and his failing government have  been abandoned by his Federal colleagues.

After Malcolm Turnbull’s disastrous trip west last week where he couldn’t give even the most feeble defence of Premier Barnett, Federal WA Liberal MP’s have gone missing in action.

Labor has been firing on all cylinders in both WA and in Canberra, united and talking about all the positive policies that an elected McGowan Labor Government will bring to the people of Western Australia. Policies like a world class rail network in METRONET, fixing our health system through upgrading suburban hospitals and the innovation of Medi-Hotels, opposing the privatisation of Western Power.

Yet, where are all the Federal Liberals spruiking Premier Barnett’s achievements?

There’s been little to no mention of them in the Federal Parliament and other than the Prime Minister’s train wreck trip the east coast Liberals have been reluctant to journey across the Nullarbor.

It’s now clear that the Liberal Party know that Premier Barnett and his tired government are close to being consigned to the scrap heap. Malcolm Turnbull might be able to avoid his fate for a short while longer, but it’s clear that policies that hurt ordinary Aussies will lead them to punish you at the ballot box. In their heart of hearts, the Federal Liberals know that the Barnet Government is out of touch and out of ideas.

It’s time for a McGowan Labor Government in WA.
